In a nail biting 1st ODI, India beat touring South Africa just by 1 runs on the last ball of the match with a run out on Sunday, 21st February, 2010 at Jaipur. India made 298/9 in 50 overs and bowled out SA on 297 in 50 overs.India set a target of 299 runs thanks to timely contribution by Sehwag 46, Karthik 44 and Rain a58 runs.
