Makhaya Ntini played his last match for South Africa, but they lost the match as India easily won the match by 21 runs thanks to Man of the Match for Rohit Sharma for his 53 runs.

India won the one-off twenty20 match comfortably by 21 runs against host South Africa, as they were unable to give winning fare well to star bowler Makhaya Ntini playinh his last match for country on Sunday, 9th January, 2011 at Durban. IND made 168/6 in 20 over and SAF made 147/9 in 20 overs.

India got a good start by Kohli (28) and Rohit Sharm, hit 34 balls 53 runs with 5 fours and 2 sixes and in the end Raina hit 23 balls 41 runs with 2 fours and 3 sixes to set a competitive total. South Africa then lost 2 wickets early but van Wyk hit 38 balls 67 runs and put host on top at one stage but didn' get any support from others and spinners brought back quick wickets to win the match.

India - 168/6 in 20 overs (Rohit 53, Raina 41, Theron 2-39)

South Africa - 147/9 in 20 overs (van Wyk 67, Nehra 2-22, Pathan 2-22)

South Africa announced 12 member squad for one-off twenty20 match against India under the captaincy of Johan Botha. Hashim Amla included in the 20-20 team due to his good show in one day while Duminy, Ingram, Miller, Ntini, Parnell and Theron returned to shortest version of the game.
