Second test match between India and New Zealand drawn after a wonderful maiden double century by opener Brandon McCullum on the 5th and final day on 16th November, 2010 at Hyderabad. 3 match series is currently level at 0-0.

New Zealand started the final day from 237/4 with a lead of 115 runs and match could go in favour of India if they lost early wickets but overnight pair McCullum and Williamson and put century partnership in the first session and took the match away from home. After lunch McCullum hit his first double century and out on 225 runs but already saved match for his team and at tea they declared their inning on 448/8 and set a target of 323 runs in 30 overs.

India then batted for 17 overs and made 68/0 as Sehwag scored run a ball 54 runs.

Brandon McCulllum got Man of the Match for his brilliant double century.

New Zealand 1st Innings - 350 all out in 117.3 overs (McIntosh 102, Guptill 85, Ryder 70, Zaheer 4-69)

Harbhajan Singh another half century in the series and put 69 unbeaten runs partnership for the last wicket and helps India takes a crucial lead of 86 runs with 436/9 at the stump of day 3at Hyderabad on Sunday, 14th November, 2010.

India started the day from 178/2 but lost Tendulkar early and then Dravid 46 and Laxman 74 runs scored slowly and managed only 59 runs in the first session. Wickets at regular intervals causes India just managed to take the lead just when Harbhajan and Sreesanth put 86 runs unbeaten partnership for the last wicket and took India to a good position.

Harbhajan is playing on 85 runs and may score another century tomorrow and will try to get as many lead as possible and then put pressure on the New Zealand in 2nd inning. So join here tomorrow for all the live action.

Harbhajan Singh and VVS Laxman scored 115 runs and 91 runs respectively and rescued India on the 5th and final day of 1st test match at Motera after Chris Martin's 5 wicket put India on back foot. Harbhajan got Man of the Match for his maiden test century.

First test match between India and New Zealand has drawn after Harbhajan Singh and VVs Laxman rescued on the 5th day and if Dhoni declared the inning for a target of 259 odd runs in 40 odd overs it could be interesting, but New Zealand got a target of 295 runs in minimum 24 overs on the 5th nad final day on Monday, 8th November, 2010 at Motera Ahmedabad.

India started the inning from 82/6 with a lead of 110 runs after Martin's 5 wickets and match came alive when India reduced to 15 for 5, but both overnight batsmen Laxman and Harbhajan played the entire first session and rescued India and put them in a comfortable position and if Dhoni declared the inning at right time there could be a result. Harbhajan Singh hit his maiden test century with 115 runs as Laxman was given out wrongly on 91 runs. New Zealand ended the match at 22/1 in 10 overs after bot the team agreed for a draw

New Zealand done well to restrict India below 500 runs on the 2nd day of 1st test at Ahmedabad. India started the day from 328/3 and before lunch Tendulkar and Laxman out on 40 runs and struugling on 412/8 before Harbhajan Singh scored his career best 69 runs and put India on strong position with 487 runs just before tea.

New Zealand lost their two wickets quickly as Zaheer and Ojha strikes early and then McCullum and Ross Taylor put a fight back with 42 runs and close the day on 69/2. After much drama on the fifth and final day of 2nd test match, India won by an inning and 58 runs just nefore the 2 overs left in the match to over and retained their no. 1 test ranking on Thursday, 18th February, 2010 at the famous Eden Gardens, Kolkata. 2 match series between India and South Africa drawn 1-1.

India needed 7 wickets on the final day and they took 3 wickets easily but Aamla, Indias's main rival in the series shown great resistance as he put 70 runs partnership in 24 overs with Parnell and then almost saved the match with 26 runs for the last wicket with Morkel in 20.4 overs.

Crowd gone mad when Harbhajan Singh took the last wicket of Morkel when only 2 overs left in the match and left Hashim Aamla out of partner at other end as he was unbeaten on 123 runs and played 394 balls.

Hashim Aamla got Man of the Match for centuries in both the inning and also got Man of the Series for 490 run at an average 490.00 with 3 centuries in 3 innings.

India set a target of 617 runs in the 2nd inning of the 3rd and final test on the 4th day and took New Zealand's 4 wicket before bad light stopped the play 21 overs earlier on Monday, 6th April, 2009 at Wellington. India leading the 3 match series by 1-0.

India started the day from 349/5 and scored quickly to pass the lead by 600 runs thanks to Dhoni's 56 and quickfire 40 off just 46 balls by Yuraj and set a impossible target of 617 runs.

New Zealand started poorly due to fine bowling by Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh took 2 wickets each but a 83 runs unbeaten partnership between Taylor and Franklin, playing on 69 runs and 26 runs respectively put hold on Indian victory.

Rahul Dravid has created record and become highest catch taker in the history of test cricket when he took the edge from Tim McIntosh off Zahher's ball and passed Mark Taylor's with 182 catches.

Gautam Gambhir run of form continues in the 2nd inning of 3rd and final test as his brilliant 167 runs put in the drivers seat at the stump of day 3 with a total lead of 531 runs against New Zealand on Sunday, 5th April, 2009 at Wellington.

India started 3rd day from 51/1 and batted posivetively as Dravid scored another half century with classy 60 runs, but the hero of the day was in form Gautam Gambhir who scored his 6th test century with 167 runs off 257 balls with 16 fours and 2 sixes to take India lead pass 500 run mark along with Laxman who contributed 61 runs.

Gambhir who played marathon inning in the last test to save the match but today he plays according to the demand and scored runs quickly to reach his consecetive centuries in the series. Gambhir is now highest scorer in the series with 445 runs with an average of 89.00.

New Zealand has a huge task ahead in order to save this test with 2 days remaining in the match. Daniel Vettori and O'Brien took 2 wickets each in the 2nd inning.

Hope India will give a target of around 600 runs early on the 4th day as Dhoni and Yuraj playing on 15 and 16 respectively. So Watch here for the final result as play start half an hour early tomorrow.

Zaheer Khan took 5 wickets on the 2nd day of 3rd and final test match as India took control in the match and moves closer to clinch the series in New Zealand as they bowled out host on 197 runs and took 182 runs 1st inning lead on Saturday, 4th April, 2009. India were 51/1 in 2nd inning with a total lead of 233 runs.

India started 2nd day from 375/9 and just 4 runs in 13 balls before all out on 379 runs in 1st inning. Then they pushed New Zealand thanks to superb bowling by Zaheer who took 5 wickets and well supported by Harbhajan Singh who took 3 wickets.

India scored 375 runs at the stump of day 1 against New Zealand in the 3rd and final test math against New Zealand on Fiday, 3rd April, 2009 at at Basin Reserve, Wellington. Tendulkar, Dhoni and Harbhajan scored half centuries. Tendulkar also contributed 62 runs of just 5 balls with 11 fours as tailenders score 175 runs.

India started well with 1st wicket stand of 73 runs between Sehwag and Gambhir and they were 165/2 at one stage but 3 quick wickets put them on back foot. But a 79 runs 7th wicket partnership between Harbhajn and Dhoni scored 60 and 52 runs respectively put India back in the game

New Zealand took control at one stage bot lost momentum in the end. Martin took 3 wicket as Southee and O'Brien took 2 wickets each.

India finally ended the 33 years drought of winning a test match in New Zealand as they won the first test match by 10 wickets on the 4th day of the match at Hamilton on Saturday, 21st March, 2009. India now leading the 3 match series by 1-0.

New Zealand started the 4th day, trailing by 166 runs from India's 1st inning with 7 wickets in hand. They were in danger of inning defeat due to wicket falls at regular intervals but 76 runs 9th wicket partnership between McCullum and O'Brien, scored 84 runs and 21 runs helped them pass India's total. They all out on the same score of 1st inning 279 and gave a target of 39 runs.

Harbhajan took 6 wickets, his best figures oversease. India reached the target of 39 runs in 32 balls with lot of fours from Gambhir and Dravid scored 30 and 8 runs respectively.

India won the 3rd ODI at Kanpur by 16 runs on the D-L Method due to bad light against England on Thursday, 20th November, 2008. Match reduced to 49 overs due to bad light and England won the toss and elected to bat first, scored 240 all out in 48.4 overs and India made 198/5 runs in 40 overs when match stopped and ahead by 16 runs on D-L method.

England got a solid start by Bell and Bopara added 79 runs for the 1st wicket, Bopara scored 60 and Bell made 46 runs but cllapsed to 133/4. England however managed 24 runs thanks to Owais Shah's 40 runs in the end.

India also started well but wickets felt at regular intervals after Sehwag made 68 runs. India was behind the required run rate as light was going dim and Dhoni & Yuraj made quick runs and came ahead according to D-L method.

Harbhajan Singh is awarded man ofthe match award for his 3 for 31. India is now leading the 7 match series by 3-0 and 4th day night ODI will be played on Sunday, 23rd November, 2008 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
