IND vs NZL 3rd One Day Preview at Vadodra - India v New Zealand Third ODI Teams

Third one day international between host India and New Zealand will be played on Saturday, 4th December, 2010 at Reliance Stadium, Vadodara in a day game and timing will be 3:30 GMT, 9:00 IST. India leading the 5 match series by 2-0.

India will try to wrap up the series after dominated in the first 2 ODI's and with the return of Zaheer Khan their bowling will be improved but they will miss Sreesanth who took 7 wickets in 2 games has been rested for the remaining series along with Raina. Keeper Saha will have last game as he is replaced by Parthive Patel for the last 2 games and rested for the South Africa series. Saurabh Tiwari may get a chance to play in the middle order.

New Zealand
desperately needing a win as they lost 7 matches in a row so far and hope hard hitter opener Brandon Mccullum will return for the remaining ODI's. Guptill and Stryris contributed in the last game but they have to perform as a team to win the matches.

India vs New Zealand 1st Test Photos, Images - Harbhajan is Man of the Match

Harbhajan Singh and VVS Laxman scored 115 runs and 91 runs respectively and rescued India on the 5th and final day of 1st test match at Motera after Chris Martin's 5 wicket put India on back foot. Harbhajan got Man of the Match for his maiden test century.

New Zealand won 5th ODI by 8 Wick | India won Series by 3-1

New Zealand beat India by 8 wickets in the 5th and final ODI to take some pride as they already lost the 5 match series by 3-1 on Saturday, 14th March, 2009 at Auckland. India bowled out on 149 in 36.3 overs and New Zealand easily reached the target in 23.2 overs.


India won the toss and elected to bat first and played poorly as every one throwing their wicket and ll out on 149 runs in 36.3 overs of the 43 over match due to late start.

New Zealand reached the target with 151/2 in 23.2 overs thanks to fine hitting by Jesse Ryder and Guptill scored 63 off 49 balls with 6 fours and 4 sixes and 57 not out off 50 balls respectively.

Match Summary:

India - 149 all out in 36.3 overs.

New Zealand - 151/2 in 23.2 overs.

Toss - India, who chose to bat first .

Result - New Zealand won by 8 wickets (with 118 balls remaining).

Man of The Match -Jesse Ryder (New Zealand).

Man of The Series - Virendar Sehwag (India).

Series - India won the 5-match series 3-1.
