In a rain shortened second ODI , India easily beat host West Indies by 7 wickets with 20 balls remaining on Wednesday, 8th June, 2011 at Port of Spain. WI made 240/9 in 50 overs and IND made 183/3 in 33.4 overs overs.

West Indies got a good start by Simmons 53 and Edwards 25 runs and they were 175/2 in 36 overs as Sarwan also hit 56 runs, however they lost 4 wickets for just 5 runs in the power play and they were struggling at 197/7 bu captain Sammy took them to a competitive total of 240 with 19 ball 22 runs. Amit Mishra bowled superbly with 31-4 getting good turn while Munaf Patel also bowled well for his 3-35.

In reply, India lost Dhawan early but Parthiv and Kohli put 120 runs in 25 overs scored 56 runs and 81 runs respectively. Match was hit by several rain intervals and match shortened to 37 overs with a revised target of 183 runs by D/L method and Raina 26* and Rohit 7* comfortably cross the line with 20 balls remaining and take a 2-0 lead in 5 match series.

IND v SA 4th ODI Result - Duminy helps South Africa won by 48 runs in a rain hit match, Series level 2-2

South Africa bounced back strongly after two lost and won the 4th one day by 48 runs in the rain inturrepted match to level the 5 match series 2-2, on Friday, 21st January, 2011 at Port Elizabeth. SAF made 265/7 in 50 overs and IND were 142/6 in 32.5 overs when rain stops play.

South Africa got a good start by Amla's 64 runs but then they reduced to 118/5 in 23 overs as Yuvraj took 3 wickets but JP Duminy hit unbeaten 71 runs off 72 balls to set a tough total of 265 on a slow track well supported by Botha, who made 44 runs. India then again got a poor start and soon reduced to 49/3 but Kohli fought hard with unbeaten 87 runs but didn't get any support from other end they were 142/6 when rain stops play well behind 48 runs as per D/L method. JP Duminy got Man of the Match for his 71 runs.

India beat New Zealand by 40 runs in the opening ODI and took the 1-0 lead in 5 match series on Sunday, 28th November, 2010 at Guwahati. IND made 276 runs in 49 overs and NZL made 236 runs in 45.2 0vers.

India invited to bat first got a good start by Vijay 29 and Gambhir 38 and then Kohli and Yuvraj 42 put 88 runs for the third wicket and after Virat Kohli hit his 4th ODI century, his 2nd in a row they were looking for a 300+ runs but lower order collapsed and all out on 276 runs. New Zealand in the reply lost regular wickets as only Ross Taylor made 66 runs in the middle and they were struggling on 169/8 after 35 overs and then Nathan McCullum 35 runs and Mills 32 runs put 67 runs in 10 overs for the 9th wicket and put some fighting the end but Sresanth took both the wickets in 2 balls to give India a 40 runs win.
