South Africa qualifies for the QF of 2011 CWC, as they beat Ireland by 131 runs. JP Duminy got Man of the Match for his 99 runs.

South Africa easily beat promising Ireland by 131 runs in 34th match of 2011 Cricket World Cup, and reaches in Quarter-Finals with top spot in Group B, on Tuesday, 15th March, 2011 at Kolkata.

South Africa was struggling art 117/5 due to good bowling but Ingram, playing his 1st match of WC put 87 runs with Duminy who hit brilliant 99 runs and helps them made 272/7. Ireland then lost regular wickets and bowled out on 141 runs in 33.2 overs as Morkel took 3 and Duminy took 2 wickets.

Match Summary:

South Africa - 272/7 in 50 overs (Duminy 99, Ingram 46, Dockrell 1-37)

Ireland - 141 all out in 33.2 overs (Wilson 31, Morkel 3-33, Kallis 2-20)

Toss - Ireland won the toss and elected to bowl first.

JP Duminy played a brilliant inning of unbeaten 71 runs off 72 runs under pressure and helps South Africa won by 48 runs (D/L)and level the series by 2-2 as 5th and final ODI will be a decider on Sunday, 23rd January, 2011.

South Africa bounced back strongly after two lost and won the 4th one day by 48 runs in the rain inturrepted match to level the 5 match series 2-2, on Friday, 21st January, 2011 at Port Elizabeth. SAF made 265/7 in 50 overs and IND were 142/6 in 32.5 overs when rain stops play.

South Africa got a good start by Amla's 64 runs but then they reduced to 118/5 in 23 overs as Yuvraj took 3 wickets but JP Duminy hit unbeaten 71 runs off 72 balls to set a tough total of 265 on a slow track well supported by Botha, who made 44 runs. India then again got a poor start and soon reduced to 49/3 but Kohli fought hard with unbeaten 87 runs but didn't get any support from other end they were 142/6 when rain stops play well behind 48 runs as per D/L method. JP Duminy got Man of the Match for his 71 runs.

South Africa - 265/7 in 50 overs (Duminy 71*, Amla 64, Botha 44, Yuvraj 3-34)

India - 142/6 in 32.5 overs (Kohli 87*, Tsotsobe 2-25)
