South Africa crushed Holland and got the tops spot in Group B as Amla nd de Villiers hit brilliant centuries.

South Africa moves on top in Group B with a huge 231 runs win over Netherlands in the 16th match of 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup on Thursday, 3rd March, 2011 at Mohali.

Hashim Amla 113 runs and AB de Villiers 134 runs off just 98 balls with 13 fours and 4 sixes continues their good form and JP Duminy hit 15 balls 40 runs to set a huge total of 351/5. Netherlands then bowled out on 120 runs in 34.5 overs as Steyn toook 3 wickets.

South Africa - 351/5 in 50 overs (Amla 113, de Villiers 134)

Netherlands - 120 all out in 34.5 overs (Barresi 44, Steyn 3-26)

Toss - Netherlands won the toss and elected to bowl first.

India vs South Africa 5th ODI Photos, Images - Amla Man of the Match, Morne Morkel Man of the Series

South Africa won the 5 match ODI series by 3-2 coming from behind as they won the 5th and final one day by 33 runs in a thrilling inning by Yususf Pathan who hit 70 balls 105 runs only to be on the losing side before Amla hit 116 not out runs and got Man of the Match while Morne Morkel got Man of the Series for his 12 wickets in 5 matches.

South Africa outperformed India in a thrilling 5th and final one day, won by 33 runs (D/L) and won the series by 3-2 in a day game on Sunday, 23rd January, 2011 at Centurion. SAF made 250/9 in a rain hit 46 over match and IND managed 234 all out in 40.2 chasing a target of 268 runs in 46 overs.

South Africa once again lost Smith early but Amla and van Wyk (56 runs) put 97 runs for the 2nd wicket and they were 226/3 after 42 overs when rain stops play and match reduced to 46 overs as they lost 6 wickets for 24 runs in 4 overs, but Hashim Amla hit brilliant unbeaten century with 116 runs off 132 balls with 9 fours.

India chasing a revised target of 268 runs in 46 runs struggled from start and soon reduced to 98/7 after 19 overs, but wait match is not overs as Yusuf Pathan was there and he then played brutal inning of 105 runs off just 70 balls with 8 fours and 8 sixes and before he out India needed just 50 runs off 68 balls but after that match was over as Morne Morkel took 4 wickets.

Hashim Amla got Man of the Match for his 116 not out runs while Morne Morkel got Man of the Seres for his 12 wickets at an average of 11.41

South Africa Team, Squad for Only Twenty20 against India - SAF T20 Squad

South Africa announced 12 member squad for one-off twenty20 match against India under the captaincy of Johan Botha. Hashim Amla included in the 20-20 team due to his good show in one day while Duminy, Ingram, Miller, Ntini, Parnell and Theron returned to shortest version of the game.
