PAK v CAN 2011 CWC 17th Match Result - Pakistan won by 46 runs as Afridi took 5 wickets


Shahid Afridi is doing wonder as he again took 5 wickets and helps Pakistan defended small total of 184 runs and won the match by 46 runs against Canada in the 17th match of 2011 Cricket World Cup on Thursday, 3rd March, 2011 at Colombo.

Canada bowled well and restricted Pakistan to 184 all out in 43 overs as only in-form Misbah hit 48 runs and Baidwan took 3 wickets. Canada started cautiously and they were in a good position 104-3 but Afridi again done magic with his bowling and took 5 wickets for 23 runs.

Match Summary:

Pakistan - 184 all out in 43 overs (Misbah 48, Baidwan 2-35)

Canada - 138 all out in 42.5 overs (Hansra 43, Afridi 5-23)

Toss - Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first.
