Ind vs SL 5th ODI Result - India out of Tri-Series, lost to Sri Lanka by 6 wickets


In an important 5th match of Micromax Tri-Series Sri Lanka beat India by 6 wickets and knocked India out of the tournament on Saturday, 5th June, 2010 at Harare.

India made 268/9 in 50 overs thanks to Kohli's 68 and Pathan's 44 runs and need to restrict Sri Lanka on 214 to get bonus point but lost the match as Chandimal hit maiden century 11 runs and guided his team to final.

Zimbabwe once againt too good for India as they beat in a successive match and this time with a bonus point as they won by 7 wickets with 70 balls remaining in the 4th ODI of Micromax Triangular Series on Thursday, 3rd June, 2010 at Harare.

India got a 58 runs opening partnership but in 16 overs as Vijay made 21 runs off 56 balls as India struggled once again of good bowling by Zimbabwe bowlers as only Jadeja hit 51 runs as India managed only 194/9 in 50 overs. Zimbabwe then reached the target in 38.2 overs with Taylors's 74 runs and Masakadza's 66 runs.
