Neighbors India and host Sri Lanka will meet in the 3rd match of Micromax tri-series on Monday, 16th August, 2010 at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in a day night game and timing will be 09:00 GMT, 14:30 local, 14:30 IST.

India crushed by huge 200 runs in the opening game by New Zealand and they are currently lying at the bottom of points table and if they want to stay in the series they have to win this game. Their strong batting line up failed under light and all the players should contribute against strong bowling. Yuvraj Singh and Asish Nehra are injured and may replace by Kohli and Munaf.

Sri Lanka got a winning start and opener Tharanga done well under lights with 70 runs well supported by Sangakkra. Lasith Maling and Angelo Mathews bowled really well in the 1st inning.

Host Sri Lanka beat in-form New Zealand in a close low scoring 2nd ODI of Micromax tri-series on Friday, 13th August, 2010 at Dambulla. NZL all out on 192 runs in 48.1 overs and SRL made 195/7 in 40.5 overs.

New Zealand won the toss again lost Guptill on the 2nd ball and due to tight bowling managed only 192 runs as only opener Walting made 55 runs. In reply Sri Lanka was well placed on 164/3 but some quick wickets made the game tough and won by 3 wickets with 55 balls remaining.

In an interesting low scoring 1st match of Asia Cup 2010, host Sri Lanka survive Shahid Afridi's 76 balls 109 runs and beat Pakistan by 16 runs on Tuesday, 15th June, 2010 at Dambulla. SL made 242/9 in 50 overs and Pak bowled out on 226 runs in 47 overs.

Sri Lanka made to 242 thanks to Sangakkra's 42, in-form Jayawardhane's 54 and in the end Mathews hit 55 runs to get a respectable score as come back fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar bowled brilliantly with 3 wickets for 41 runs.

Pakistan then reduced to 32-4 but Afridi played a brilliant inning of 109 runs off 76 balls with 8 fours and 7 sixes but Sangakkra took great catch to out him and match turned towards host as Malinga took 5 wickets in the end.
