Firts match of the Idea Cup tri-series will be played between host Bangladesh and Sri Lanka on Monday, 4th January, 2010 at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur in a say-night game starting from 15:30 local, 08:30 GMT, 14:00 IST.

Sri Lanka just lost the ODI series against India and now they will try to make compensation and they are looking favorite against the host. Dilshan, Tharanga and Sangakkara are in good form and they need to work in the middle order in the absance of Jayawardhane.

After winning the home series against Sri Lanka, India is ready to clinch one more trophy in Bangladesh as Indian selectors announced Indian team for tri-series starting from 4th January, 2010.
