Now it's Semi-Final time in the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, as only 4 teams remain to clinch the title on next Saturday, 2nd April. In the 1st Semi-Final, co-ost and strong title contender Sri Lanka will take surprise package New Zealand on Tuesday, 29th March at Colombo. 2nd SemiFinal will be an explosive one as played between bitter rival India and Pakistan on Wednesday, 30th March at Mohali.

Sri Lanka v England 2011 Cricket World Cup 4th QF Photos - Tilakratne Dilshan Man of Match

Sri Lanka easily beat England in the 4th QF by 10 wickets and Sri Lankan openers put 231 not out runs and this is the highest total chased without a single wicket lost in a World Cup match surpassing the 221 by West Indies against Pakistan in 1992. Tilakratne Dilshan got Man of the Match for his unbeaten 108* runs and 1 wicket.

Coo-host Sri Lanka passed strong signal to opponents with superb performance from both bat and ball as they beat England by 10 wickets with 63 balls remaining, in the 4th QF of 2011 CWC on Saturday, 26th March at Colombo. Sri Lanka will now take New Zealand in the 1st Semi-Final on Tuesday, 29th March at Colombo.

England after winning the toss got a bad start but Trott hit 86 runs put 91 runs for the 4th wicket with Morgan who hit 50 runs, but unable to scored quick runs even at the end due to good bowling by Sri Lanka bowlers as Murali took 2 wickets.

Sri Lankan openers then dominated and chased the runs without loosing any wickets as Dilshan hit 108* runs off 115 balls with 10 fours and 2 sixes and Tharanga made 102 not out runs off 122 balls with 12 fours and a six.

England - 229/6 in 50 overs (Trott 86, Morgan 50, Muralitharan 2-54)

Sri Lanka - 231/0 in 39.3 overs (Dilshan 108*, Tharanga 102*)

Toss - England won the toss and elected to bat first.

Co-host and one of the title contender Sri Lanka will take injury hit England in the 4th Quarter-Final of 2011 Cricket World Cup, on Saturday, 26th March, 2011 at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, in a day-night game starting from 09:00 GMT, 14:30 local, 14:30 IST.

Sri Lanka done pretty well in the league matches, and finished 2nd in Group B. Upal Tharanga and Dilshan giving good start to them while Kumara Sangakkara and Jayawardhane strengthening the middle order. On the turning track Muraltharan and Mendis will be unplayable after opening spell of Lasith malinga.

England, without their key players Pietersen and Broad due to injury highly depend on Strauss and Trott in batting and if Graem Swann can do magic with the ball they have some chance. James Anderson may find a place in playing 11
