IND v SRL 2011 CWC Final Preview at Mumbai - India v Sri Lanka Cricket WC 2011 Final Teams
Hosts of 2011 Cricket World Cup, India and Sri Lanka are ready for the battle of Grand Finale to lift the prestigious trophy on Saturday, 2nd April, 2011 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, in a day-night game starting from 09:00 GMT, 14:30 local, 14:30 IST.India reached the final by winning two high profile against top teams under pressure, first beat defending champions in the quarter final and then biggest match of the tournament against arch rivals Pakistan in the semi final, as both the match were close. Good thing is that in both the matches India's weakest link, i.e. their bowling clicked and bowlers bowled brilliantly under pressure as Zaheer Khan is now the 2nd highest wicket taker in the tournament with 19 wickets 2 short of Shahid Afridi, while Harbhajan Singh also back in form. Sachin Tendulkar is also at the 2nd amongst highest scorer, 3 runs short of leader Dilshan. They will highly depend on their batting one last time in the tournament specially openers.
Sri Lanka's knock out journey was quite easy as they beat England and New Zealand comfortably. Their openers are in great touch specially Dilshan who is leading the highest run chart along with captain Kumara Sangakkara, but their lower middle order has not much exposed. They will be much depend on 3 M's Makinga, Mendis and Muralitharan as the later is injured but he will probably in his last ODI. It will be interesting if they will go for 3 spinners with Herath. Other advantage is that they had played and won here in Mumbai in the league match against Kiwis,
