In a low scoring thrilling match, India won the match by just 1 run and level the 5 match series 1-1 on Saturday, 15th January, 2011 a Johannesburg. IND all out on 190 runs in 47.2 overs and SAF all out on 189 runs in 43 overs.

India elected to bat first and got a slow start after early wicket of Vijay but they reduced to 67-3 after 19 overs and then 83 runs partnership between Yuvraj (53) and Dhoni (38) put them in comfortable position before they lost 6 wickets for 21 runs thanks to brilliant bowling by Tsotsobe took 4-22.
