India has never won the ODI series in South Africa and now they have a good chance for historic series win. M Vijay is totally out of form but India don't have any other option but Dhoni has given enough chance to his Chennai Kings mate. Yusuf Pathan will be vital again in finishing the game while bowlers are doing decent job.

South African middle lower order collapsed two times in a row and this has been big concern for them but good thing is that JP Duminy played 2 brilliant knocks and Faf du Plessis played confidently in his debut match. Morne Morkel and Dale Steyn bowling well but they were unable to finish.

IND vs SAF 3rd ODI Preview at Cape Town - India v South Africa Third One Day Teams

Tough fight between top two teams host South Africa and India continues when they meet for the third one day on Tuesday, 18th January, 2011 at Newlands, Cape Town in a day/nigh game and timing will be 12:30 GMT, 14:30 local, 18:00 IST. 5 match series is currently level at 1-1.

India defended a low total in the last match to level the series in a thriller but they will be now without their most experienced player Sachin Tendulkar, who returns home due to injury, so Kohli will open the inning with out of form M Vijay while Yusuf Pathan will get a chance to play his first game of the series. Munaf Patel did well in the last game and need more support from others.

Lower order collapse in the last match is a concern for South Africa and in the absance of Kallis, de Villiers and Duminy should take extra responsibility. Faf du Plessis may get a chance due to his ability to bat also.
