Sri Lanka finally beat India in the final, as they won the tri series by 4 wickets with 9 balls remaining in a low scoring match on Wednesday, 13th January, 2010 at Mirpur.

India lost their 5 wickets at 60 runs but then Raina 106 and Jadeja 38 took India to a competetive score but its not enough as Jayawardhane played a classy inning of unbeaten 71* runs to lift the trophy.
