5th and final day of the 3rd test match was an anti-climax as ended in a draw without any fight from both side and they were happy to share the series with 1-1. India needed 340 runs and South Africa needed in 90 overs, as India started cautiously and gone more slow after early exit of Sehwag as managed only 53 runs in 1st session and finished on 166/3 with Gautam Gambhir managed 64 runs. South African bowlers managed 1 wickets in each session as none of the bowler was threatening.

Jacque Kallisgot Man of the Match for his 2 brilliant centuries in each inning as well as Man of the Series for 498 runs at an average ogf 166.00 with 3 centuries including maiden double century.

South Africa 1st inning - 362 all out in 112.5 overs (Amla 59, Kallis 161, Sreesanth 5-144)

India 1st inning - 364 all out in 117.1 overs (Tendulkar 146, Gambhir 93, Steyn 5-75)

South Africa 2nd inning - 341 all out in 102 overs (Kallis 109*, Boucher 55, Harbhajan 7-120)

India 2nd inning - 166/3 in 82 overs (Gambhir 64)

Jacques Kallis once again proved he is the best all rounder in the history of cricket by hitting brilliant 2nd century of the match with unbeaten 109* runs on the 4th day and helps to set a tough target of 340 runs for India on the 5th and final day. South Africa were struggling on 130/6 at one stage but Kallis 103 runs with Boucher (55) and then 54 runs with Steyn (32) and 46 runs with Harris (28) to save South Africa.

Harbhajan Singh took 7 wickets on the turning pitch and India have 10 wickets to get a target of 340 runs in 90 runs, but Gambhir may not bat due to finger injury and Dravid will open the inning, on another thrilling day of test cricket awaits us, so join here for the final day action,

The much talked series between two top tests teams India and South Africa comes to the final 3rd test and best thing is that it will be a decider as series is currently level at 1-1 as third test will starting from Sunday, 2nd January, 2011 at Newlands, Cape Town and the timing will be 08:30 GMT, 10:30 local, 14:00 IST.

India bounced back strongly after inning lost in the 1st test with 87 runs in 2nd test to level the series mainly thanks to VVS Laxman who was the only batsman who made half century and their bowlers. Cape Town wicket supposed to be batting friendly and it is a good chance for them to put some runs on board specially Sehwag and Dravid as they still to play with their reputation and if Gambhir will return they have good batting strength. Zaheer Khan is in good touch while Harbhajan is also taking wickets.

South Africa
has been disappointed as they missed a good chance to win the series after brilliant show in 1st test. They have to improve their as Ashell Prince was the highest scorer with 39 runs in the 2nd inning. Dale Steyn, Morne Morkal and Tsotsobe are doing well and if supported by their batsmen they will have upper hand.
