India won the 3rd and final test match against Sri Lanka by an inning and 24 runs and becomes the no 1 test team in ICC Ranking on Sunday, 4th December, 2009 at Mumbai.
Zaheer Khan took 5 wickets for 72 runs in second inning. Virender Sehwag got Man of the Match for his 293 runs and Man of the Series for his 491 runs in four innings.
