India successfully chased the highest score of the series 315 runs thanks to Yusuf Pathan's 96 balls 123 not out runs and set a 5 wicket win with 7 balls remaining and extend their lead to 4-0 in a rain inturrepted game on Tuesday, 7th December, 2010 at Bangalore. NZL made 315/7 in 50 overs and IND made 321/5 in 48.5 overs


New Zealand got their best opening stand of the series 62 runs in 8 overs and then converted it to highest score of the series with a total of 315/7 thanks to Franklin's unbeaten 98 runs off just 69 balls with 12 fours and 3 sixes with contributions from McCullum 42, Taylor 44 and Styris 46 runs as Pathan took 3 wickets.

India also got a good start by Parhive Patel's 53 runs but lost quick wickets and struggling at 108/4 but Yusuf Pathan first put 80 runs with Rohit Sharma 44 and then put unbeaten 133 runs in 16 overs with Saurabh Tiwary 37* to set an easy 5 wicket win with 7 balls remaining. Yusuf Pathan hit unbeaten 123 runs off 96 balls with 7 fours and 7 sixes.

In a dead rubber 4th one day, India will take New Zealand as host already won the series, on Tuesday, 7th December, 2010 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore in a day night game starting from 9:00 GMT, 14:30 IST. India leading the 5 match series by 3-0.

India will now try to win the series by 5-0 and will give chance to new players like Saurabh Tiwary and Parthiv Patel will take the place of keeper Saha, who rested for South Africa series. India won the 5 match series by 3-0 with 2 matches to go after winning the 3rd one day easily by 9 wickets. Gautam Gambhir got another Man of the Match for his 2nd successive century of the series. Zaheer Khan took 2 wickets after returning from injury.

Gautam Gambhir's form continues as he hit successive century to help India won the third match by 9 wickets with 63 balls remaining and won the series by 3-0 with 2 games to go against New Zealand on Saturday, 4th December, 2010 at Baroda. NZL made 224/9 in 50 overs and IND made 229/1 in 39.3 overs.

New Zealand got a poor start as Zaheer Khan took the wicket of Brandon McCullum, both returns from injury and they lost regular wickets and struggling at 106/7 but Franklin 72* and Nathan McCullum 43 helps them to put a respecting total of 224/9. Zaheer Khan, R Ashwin and Yususf Pathan took 2 wickets each.

India again got a good start as Gambhir and Vijay 30 put 115 runs opening partnership and then with Kohli 63 put another 114 runs to seal the victory. Gautam Gambhir hit ceonsecetive century of the series with unbeaten 126 runs off 117 balls with 16 fours.
