Ind vs NZL 3rd Test 3rd Day review - Dravid's 191 runs set a lead of 373 runs, NZL 24/1 in 2nd inning

Rahul Dravid missed his 6th double century while Dhoni missed his 5th test century but India took control of the third and final test with 373 runs lead in the first inning and also took 1 wicket of New Zealand at the stumps of day 3. New Zeakand has tough task ahead with 2 days to go and trailing by 349 runs with 9 wickets remaining.

Sachin Tendulkar missed his 50th test century but Rahul Dravid marched on slowly to his century and after that he and Dhoni accelerate the inning and took the match away from New Zealand. Dhoni was cramping and soon out on 98 runs while Dravid scored 191 runs and soon after India declared their inning on 566/8 with the lead of 373 runs.

So watch out for the 4th day as India will try to win the test as well as series.

After two draws host India and New Zealand will try to win the third and final test and clinch the series starting from Saturday, 20th November, 2010 at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur and timing will be from morning 4:00 GMT, 9:30 IST. 3 match series is currently level at 0-0.

India has to blame to their poor bowling as they were unable to take a lead in the low placed opponent. Indian batsmen are contributing well along with Harbhajan, who scored two centuries but not doing his main work i.e. taking wickets. Raina and Dhoni has yet to contribute in the series while Zaheer is ruled out and will be replace by Ishant Sharma.

New Zealand will be very happy with their performance so far against the no.1 test team and McCullm, McIntosh, Ryder and Williamson continues with their good form they can again give a challenge to weak Indian bowling attack.

Second test match between India and New Zealand drawn after a wonderful maiden double century by opener Brandon McCullum on the 5th and final day on 16th November, 2010 at Hyderabad. 3 match series is currently level at 0-0.

New Zealand started the final day from 237/4 with a lead of 115 runs and match could go in favour of India if they lost early wickets but overnight pair McCullum and Williamson and put century partnership in the first session and took the match away from home. After lunch McCullum hit his first double century and out on 225 runs but already saved match for his team and at tea they declared their inning on 448/8 and set a target of 323 runs in 30 overs.

India then batted for 17 overs and made 68/0 as Sehwag scored run a ball 54 runs.

Brandon McCulllum got Man of the Match for his brilliant double century.
