Indian Captain MS Dhoni hit his 5th ODI century and 1st against Australia with 124 runs off just 107 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes and guided India to a crushing 99 runs victory over Australia in the 2nd ODI on Wednesday, 28th October, 2009 at Nagpur. & match ODI series is now level by 1-1.

India made 354/7, their highest score against Australia due to good contribution by Sehwag 40 of 31 balls, Gambhir 76 runs and Raina 62 of just 50 balls. Raninder Jadeja took 3 wickets for 35 runs.

In a high scoring thriller in the 1st ODI, Australia beat by host India by just 4 runs on Sunday, 25th October, 2009 at Vadodara. Australia made 292/8 in 50 overswhile India just short with 288/8 in 50 overs.

India were 201/7 after 40 overs but Harbahjan Singh and Praveen Kumar put 84 runs in just 9 runs and got 9 runs to win in the last over but harbhajan got out and India lost by 4 runs.
